Documenting a Day: Jossi's Day

Jossi's Day In this assignment, the software applications applied were from the Microsoft Office 365 bundle. The purpose of this assignment and using the various applications is to determine what is the best application for each task. For example, the best application is Microsoft Word to write a journal or document. For calculating time spent on activities, I used Microsoft Excel. Jossi's Scratch Project 🐾 Using Scratch was an exciting experience. At first, I was unsure that I had arrived at the correct website because I saw many cartoon images and sounds, so I thought I clicked on a game for children. However, I was excited to begin my assignment after confirming I was on the correct site. It gave me a “Are you smarter than a fifth grader” type of feel. I’m not one for perusing through instructions, but when I watched the overview, it made more sense. I like that you can test each block action and see it on the right pane. I didn't appreciate that I had to reset most of my sprites to their starting positions manually. Another thing is that there should be a way to add various sprites within one screen instead of individually having all the sprites and their codes. Blog Reflection Paper One of the best tips I reviewed was to use technology. That’s easier said than done because using technology for a blog is common. However, it must be used to your advantage. For example, you need to create a blog environment that users will be attracted to and want to read the blog. I’ve read many blogs, and many of them are lengthy or tend to go in circles instead of getting to the point. Getting right to the point allows users to be intrigued while continuing to read things on the go.
